Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 


A documentary video is shown to educate the visitors on the history of the sanctuary and other necessary information about the elephants.

The Sanctuary set up an Elephant Trust Fund to encourage donations from visitors / travel entities for the preservation of the elephants.


Pickup info:

Pick up times are 8:45 am and 9:15 am in the morning.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off at selected hotels within the Kuala Lumpur city to tour departure point.  Participants are to make their own way to the departure point or to the selected pick-up point to avail the complimentary pick-up.  Pick-up and drop-off service outside the designated pick-up point is available with a surcharge.

Please indicate which hotel you are staying at the time of booking and we shall advise you the nearest and most convenience pick-up point for the tour and applicable pick-up surcharge.   

Pick-up time is between 30 -45 minutes from the departure time and your actual pick-up time will depend on the location of your hotel and traffic conditions.
