Pick up times are 8:45 am and 9:15 am in the morning.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off at selected hotels within the Kuala Lumpur city to tour departure point.  Participants are to make their own way to the departure point or to the selected pick-up point to avail the complimentary pick-up.  Pick-up and drop-off service outside the designated pick-up point is available with a surcharge.

Please indicate which hotel you are staying at the time of booking and we shall advise you the nearest and most convenience pick-up point for the tour and applicable pick-up surcharge.   

Pick-up time is between 30 -45 minutes from the departure time and your actual pick-up time will depend on the location of your hotel and traffic conditions.

Cancellation policy

- Outside 72 hours prior to departure date - 20% cancellation fee will be applicable
- Within 48 hours but outside 24 hours prior to departure date - 50% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- Within 24 hours prior to departure date - 100% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- No-show - 100% of the total amount will be chargeable

No refund / discount will be given in part or full for any items not utilized either by choice or circumstance once the tour has commenced.

Children policy

Children below 3 years of age are allowed to join the tour for free, but must travel with an adult.

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary Tour

Visitors on the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sactuary tour will have close encounters with elephants, and can observe them in what should be their natural habitat. All the elephants in this sanctuary are homeless and displaced animals placed here by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks. The Kuala Gandah Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary was established in 1989 as a base for the Elephant Relocation Team.  Establishment of this sanctuary has helped prevent further decline of the wild Asian elephants. The elephants staying at this sanctuary have been rescued from all over Peninsular Malaysia and here they can live in a safe sanctuary, in the wild.

The tour starts with participants being picked up from selected hotels and depart for a drive which will take about 2 hours to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary. The tour will pass some aboriginal "Orang Asli" settlements on the way to the Sanctuary. Visitors will be able to observe the elephants closely and get the opportunity to ride and feed them. They may even swim and bathe with these enormous, gentle beasts. Participants are dropped off at selected hotels at the end of the tour.



Participant guidelines

A tour booking requires a minimum of two adults. The price is inclusive of lunch. Participants are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat, and bring along towels and some extra clothing in case they get wet or dirty.

Other disclosures

- A 20 % non-refundable deposit is required for bookings made more than 72 hours prior to departure date. Full payment is required at least 48 hours prior to departure date.

- All confirmed bookings will be automatically cancelled in instances where the full payment is not received and cleared. Any re-instatement of bookings will be subject to availability.

- The operator reserves the right to adjust the itinerary if necessary, in the best interests of all parties involved.
