A 20% non-refundable deposit is required for bookings made more than 72 hours prior to departure date. Full payment is required at least 48 hours prior to departure date.
All confirmed bookings will be automatically canceled in instances where the full payment is not received and cleared. Any re-instatement of bookings will be subject to availability.

Country Side & Batu Caves Tour

The Royal Selangor Pewter Factory is the first stop on this tour. This factory is the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world and has a visitor centre that both tourists and Malaysians can visit. Visitors can visit the Gallery Section which includes educational exhibits such as the origins of pewter.
There are also interactive displays such as the Chamber of Chimes, the Hall of Finishes and the Pewter Museum where visitors can have different sensory experiences with pewter. The Retail Centre features a wide selection of pewter designs for those who want to shop for gifts. The tour will also visit the Batik Factory where one can see how the colourful batik is designed and printed. It is possible to buy batik handicrafts there for souvenirs.
The next destination is the cave temple at Batu Caves. The temple at Batu Caves is one of the holiest Indian shrines in Malaysia. The Temple Cave is the main cave holding holy shrines and statues depicting Hindu mythology. In order to get to this cave, 272 steps have to be climbed, which may be a little tiring to some, but upon reaching the cave, the natural beauty of the cave and the art works will make the effort worthwhile. Each year, in January or February, many Hindu devotees and tourists gather here to celebrate the Thaipusam festival. Thousands will climb the steps up to the cave to prove their faith and endurance.
The tour starts with pick up from the hotel. Participants will then be driven along the "Ambassador Row" where they can see the Malay villages. The first stop will be Royal Selangor Pewter, which is one of the largest pewter factories in the world. Visitors here can observe the different processes of making pewter.
The next stop is the Batik factory where visitors will see how Batik is designed and printed.
The final leg of the tour covers Batu Caves. It consists of three caverns and several smaller caves; but in order to reach the caves, one needs to climb 272 steps to the main cave.
The tour ends with a drop off at the hotel.
